I am a senior at Dublin Scioto High School and am in the Dublin Teacher Academy. I love to read, listen to music, draw, paint, play sports, hanging out with friends, and travel. After graduating, I will be attending a college in Ohio to further my education.
I chose to join the Dublin Teacher Academy when I was in middle school. My sixth grade math teacher allowed me to help in his class during seventh and eighth grade. He also was a Dublin graduate and knew about the program, however, he was not in it himself. When it was opened up to juniors, I was so excited to be able to begin the program. So far, I have enjoyed every minute of being in the classroom and learning what it takes to be a teacher. I also enjoyed helping in special education during middle school. I would love to teach middle school history or art because I enjoyed working with that age group and those are my favorite subjects.
